Ancol Beach - North Jakarta

Yesterday morning, Selby went with our neighbors for a morning walk on the Ancol beach, located in the North of Jakarta.
Good thing that she brought her digital camera along with her so she can share some pictures with us here.

Sunglasses only for US 1 (one dollar) per pair!!! Whoaaaa... that's really cheap!
It's really surprising that there are many people bringing their dogs walking in Ancol. Ah... how we wish that Selby can bring us there someday, it must be really fun.... *wiggles*

Uh oh...

These 2 puppies are Kintamani breed from the island of Bali - Indonesia.
Walking alone? Where's your mummy or daddy?

Isn't she cute?

A dog must take a shower after playing in the sand?

A guy cached a small fish! Good job!

The fisherman is selling fish on his boat.
Looks like that he's taking orders by phone, BOL

  8. Wow - what an interesting place for a walk! LOVE all the pictures! But why didn't Selby take you along? I do hope you can go soon and take photos - I'd love to see you enjoying a walk there!

My humans visited Indonesia during a backpacking trip when they were still in university. They visited Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Mt Bromo, Borobodur, Prambanan and also Sulawesi where they stayed overnight in a village in Torajaland up in the mountains and were invited to a funeral celebration...it was a great adventure!!! :-) Seeing your photos brought back great memories.

  10. Wow! What a beautiful area you live in! Your pictures are gorgeous! That cloud is the coolest, and a bit bizarre, like a UFO!

I imagined myself walking there with my human and all those other doggies! Those puppies are adorable, as are all the other cool looking dogs you saw. You pups really need to make your mom take you walking there. You would meet lots of new fur-friends, and get a doggy shower! :->

My human said the fresh fish looks very yummy! And sunglasses for $1? No fair! :->

Thank you for sharing a wonderful part of your world!
