In Loving Memory

Hi everyone,

This is Selby. It has been awhile. I just want to give a little update about Adele, Bella and Vincent.

Adele went to heaven in October 2015. She was really sick because a big rat bit her. I brought her to the vet for four times but she didn't make it.

Bella joined her mom in heaven in October 2019 because of sickness which we didn't know what's the caused. 

A year later, Vincent reunited with his mom and little sister on 18 November 2020. According to the vet, his death is caused by natural causes. Well, the last three weeks of Vincent's days, he looked very old, weak and most of the time, he only slept.

I miss them so much, thus I made a short video about them. 

They will be always be in my heart.

Trying to help Grandma

Not a good news

Hi, this is Selby...

There's a couple of not good news that happened today.

Bella is sick and right now she is in quarantine for a night.

Since this noon, suddenly Bella looked not well, her tail was down with her body trembling most of the time. Good thing that she still could eat her lunch a little. Thus, this afternoon, I brought her to our veterinarian. According to the veterinarian, Bella's temperature is quite high and there might be an infection inside her. Bella got an antibiotic injection and some medicine. Hopefully, Bella will get well soon.
When we stepped inside the house, I saw my mom in tears. She was holding something in her hand. It's a kitten! Mom told me that Menet - the cat that likes to visit us on my mom's roof garden - has 4 kittens and sometimes, she brings her kitten to the roof garden. Not so sure how, but this one kitten felt down to our porch and cried. Adele directly ran out to the porch and attacked it. The kitten almost died when my mom found and helped from Adele's attack.

Right now, we are going to take care this kitten. We already named this kitten - Boogie Woogie. Whenever one of us is talking to him, he will look directly to our eyes, giving a look that he understand what we are saying to him.
Oh... by the way, Adele is showing a gesture that she is sorry for what she has done to Boogie Woogie and she is already in her bed now.

Trying to go up the stairs?

All this time, when Adele wanted to play in the roof garden, Selby would carry her to go up the stairs because the stairs are quite narrow. But then one day, Adele was trying to go up to the roof garden by herself with her kids supports.

After a few minutes later....
Adele is still considering whether she should try more steps.

Rambutan

It's already rambutan season! Rambutan (means literally hairy) is tropical fruit grown widely in Southeast Asia countries. It's very juicy and has seed inside it, tasted quite like lychee or longan.

Grandma has bought lots of rambutan and we love eating it!

We really need to be patient until grandma has finish opened it all.

But then....
Grandma, I can't wait any longer... maybe I should start by eating the rambutan's leaves first!

Ok.. ok... Here's one rambutan for you, Vincent!
Bella.... there's no rambutan in there...

Ah... eventually, Vincent got one already! *wiggles*

A boring day

It's a boring day for Bella...
Nothing really to do... *yawn*
Ah... better to check what's inside in the wash machine...
Woof... woof.. woof... Hello... who is in there?

Happy Birthday!

Yesterday was Vincent and Bella's 1st birthday...

It was a happy birthday, so much love around *wiggles*

Selby gave us a very delicious lunch, then her friend gave us a present... 1,2 kgs of crackers! Thank you, auntie Rosa!

Grandma's friend also was so nice, she made a special call for wishing a wonderful birthday to us.

Today, in order to celebrate my kids' birthday, Selby is sharing the love by distributing lunch boxes to some neighbors who love dogs too.

Lazy Monday

Bella is healthy again, thank you!

So glad to find out this morning that Bella is back healthy again.

Today's lunch, she finished one bowl of chicken and brown rice.

Bella, the little shy girl would like to say "Thank you" to all of you who have been sending good vibes, wishes and crossing your paws for her healthiness :) Oh and also to Checkers' mom who had put Bella's name into the St. Francis' bowl and lighted it up right away and smoked well wishes to the heavens, thank you!

Bella is sick

This afternoon, Bella has been throwing up for more than 10 times in less than 2 hours. So, Selby brought Bella directly to the Vet. The Vet said that Bella should do "fasting" for 24 hours to let the "poison" out from her stomach and it's OK if she wants to chew some grass in the garden.

Bella looks so tired and scared.

Get well soon, dear Bella! We love you!

Grandma is telling a story...

Definitely can tell that it's an interesting story...



A children story? a detective story? a thriller story?
Not a funny story for sure....



Ah... at least, it's a happy ending story....
